Empowering people for life and service is at the core of the mission of the Holy Spirit today. Our job is to partner with Him.
Pillar 2:
We believe that Christian life and service requires the power of the Holy Spirit. It is impossible to enjoy life in Christ without first allowing the Holy Spirit to empower us. This is the focus of our monthly Holy Ghost Service
(A) HOLY SPIRIT: - The Holy Spirit is the source of authentic spiritual power. He is the Chief Executive of God's Kingdom who took over from Jesus Christ. He comforts, helps, guides, counsels, and teaches us the way to live and work. The mission of the Holy Spirit is to empower believers to enjoy life and fulfill God's purpose for our world. We shall actively seek a practical knowledge of the person and work of the Holy Spirit in order to effectively line up with God's agenda for our world today. [Acts 1:8. Luke 24:49]
(B) SUPERNATURAL: - Christian life is a supernatural life that requires knowledge of the supernatural world. The supernatural world controls the natural world. To live effectively in the natural world, believers needs to have a good understanding of the supernatural world and how its laws govern our natural world. [Colossians 1:13. John 3:6-8. John 4;24. 1 Peter 1:23]
(C) CONSECRATION: - Empowerment by the Holy Spirit demands consecration - a strong desire and commitment to please God and do his will. There is a link between our level of spiritual empowerment and our level of devotion and desire to be set apart for God's use. [Romans 12:1, 1 Peter 1:16, Hebrews 1:9, 2 Tim 2:21]
