We believe that Christianity is a call to enjoy a life of glory and excellence. Enjoying life begins by accepting the life that Christ offers. We have accepted this offer and made commitment to think and live as Joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. We pursue this commitment through our SUNDAY WORSHIP & WORD ENCOUNTER SERVICES. Enjoying life in Christ is also a major objective of the FRESHWATER BELIEVERS ACADEMY [FBA]. FBA offers practical bible lessons to help us know who we are in Christ:our rights, privileges and responsibilities as citizens of God's kingdom. [1 Peter 1:3. Gal 3:13,14,29] The 3 elements in the ENJOY PILLAR are:
(A) IDENTITY: Christians are special people who have accepted the special gift of life from God through Jesus Christ. The sole purpose for Jesus Christ coming to the world is so that anyone who believes can have and enjoy life. By accepting Jesus, we become free from the curse to live in the blessing. Now, we are no longer slaves but sons of God and Joint heirs with Jesus Christ. We are now citizens of heaven seated with Jesus Christ in power and dominion. At the right time we will reign on earth as kings and priests to our God. God's purpose in all of these is to demonstrate the riches of his grace and love to all who will believe and accept. Yes, we know that it is difficult to grasp the reality of this new life in Christ. That is why we pray, study and teach the scriptures. [Gal 3:13-14,29, Colossians 1:13, Romans 8:17, Revelation 1:5-6, Gal 4:7, Ephesians 2:6]
(B) PROSPERITY: - Did you know that it is God's will for you to prosper and that prosperity is not just for selected few? Yes, we too are amazed to realize that our prosperity is top on God's list of desires for us. We discovered that God has a good plan for our spirit, soul, body, health, finance, relationships, business, academics, career, etc. Being Joint-heirs with Jesus Christ entitles all believers to divine prosperity. Knowing our divine purpose and taking the responsibility to pursue it guarantees good success. But the keys to these things are all mysteries unless the Holy Spirit reveals them to us. [3 John 2, Psalm 35:27, Psalm 1:3, Joshua 1:8, James 1:25, Daniel 6:3. Psalm 13:22]
(C) WISDOM: - Common sense may get you out of trouble. Intelligence may give you a place in the community. But it takes supernatural wisdom to enjoy life. Problems frustrate life and problems are indications of the need for a higher level of wisdom. The real power behind the problems of life is ignorance of the ways of God. That is why every problem becomes simple after it is solved by wisdom. While we may be able to solve certain life problems with common sense and intelligence, we are grossly inadequate to deal wisely with all the affairs of life without the wisdom of God. Are there problems in your life that have defiled solutions? Now is the time to turn to God for divine wisdom. [James 3:17, John 3:31, Matt 12:42]
